A deep golden baroque pearl cradled by a swan-shaped frame, like molten light drifting across still water.

Golden Swan Drift
A swan drawn in one continuous curve, wrapping around a warm golden pearl — a small piece of evening light that never quite goes out.
The pearl at the centre of this piece was chosen first: unusually golden,
with a surface that shifts between soft champagne and deep honey.
The swan frame was designed afterwards, following the outline of the nacre
instead of forcing it into a perfect shape.
From some angles the pearl looks almost metallic, reflecting its surroundings
like calm water at sunset. The small stone in the swan’s eye adds a quiet
point of focus — not loud, just enough to suggest that the bird is watching
something beyond the frame.
This piece sits in a private collection and is not listed in the shop. Serious collectors may enquire by email to discuss viewing or potential offers.

The Collector's Story
This pearl was found at the end of a long search — after many pieces that were almost right but not quite. Its colour was what stood out first: not just yellow, but a layered gold that shifted with every movement in the light.
The swan frame came from a simple sketch: one unbroken line looping around the pearl, leaving just enough space for the nacre to breathe. When the metal and pearl finally sat together, the piece felt less like jewellery and more like a small scene — a swan resting on still water, just before it decides to move.
Golden Swan Drift stayed on my desk for a long time before it found its current home. It is a quiet, self-contained piece; the kind that doesn’t ask for attention, but rewards anyone who takes the time to look closely at all the small shifts in colour across its surface.
